Are you fed up of those first painful steps out of bed or after you have been sat down for a while? Is it painful to run or walk?

Our tried and tested insoles for plantar fasciitis support have been proven to help those suffering from heel pain and/or plantar fasciitis. As well as providing relief and comfort, they are designed to correctly align your feet to help rectify the cause of the problem.

PlantarFix Orthotic Min Support – Cushioned

The PlantarFix Orthotic Min Support insole is made from a soft and comfortable EVA rubber material with a soft foam top. It assists in supporting the arches of the feet, so stopping the feet from rolling inwards as you walk or run. This takes the strain away from the plantar fascia rectifying the cause of the problem.

As this type of orthotic insole provides minimum plantar fasciitis support, it is especially effective for those with low arches. Also, if you have tried insoles in the past and have found them difficult to wear, these insoles are a gentler introduction to help your feet adapt to wearing them. If you aren’t sure which insoles for plantar fasciitis are right for you, visit our help page here.

What are orthotics and how do they work?

If you are suffering from heel pain or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, then orthotics can help. Orthotic insoles for plantar fasciitis support are placed inside the shoes and worn throughout the day. They act not only as shock absorbers to relieve the heel pain, they also structurally support the foot, thus assisting in rectifying the cause.

What is plantar fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is extremely common, affecting approximately 1 in 10 of the population. The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot, from the heel bone to the toes. When this ligament or tissue becomes inflamed it causes heel pain - plantar fasciitis.

Misalignment of your feet can cause this problem as can overuse – it is very common among runners and athletes.

Who does plantar fasciitis affect?

In general, it is those who have to spend long periods of time on their feet, athletes or those who are overweight who tend to be prone to plantar fasciitis. But for some people, there is no identifiable reason as to why they suffer from heel pain or plantar fasciitis.

What are the symptoms of plantar fasciitis?

Although it varies between individuals, the majority of sufferers describe it as a sharp intense pain in the heel. Normally, symptoms tend to be worse first thing in the morning and after long periods of sitting or standing.

Foam support insoles

Really great, the comfiest ones I've had for work shoes and standing all day in retail. Have bought knock off ones from amazon for convenience that looked identical but aren't even close in the thickness and correct position of the instep, so came back to PlantarFix where I knew the quality for money was justified.

So comfortable

These fit in all my shoes/boots that have removable insoles as they are not too thick but still very comfortable. Very much helps my plantar fasciitis.

Thank you so much for this product, which I bought last year. In spite of my chirpodist recommending another brand, I find your product much more comfortable and I look forward to receiving 2 more pairs. Thank you again.
