Are you fed up of those first steps out of bed or after you have been sat down for a while? Is it painful when you run or walk?

Our tried and tested adjustable plantar fasciitis insoles have been proven to help those suffering from heel pain and/or plantar fasciitis. In addition to providing relief and comfort, they have been designed to align your feet correctly and fix the cause of the problem.

PlantarFix Adjustable Orthotic Insoles

This very clever three quarter orthotic insole is made from a firm, but comfortable EVA material. It assists in supporting fully the arches of the feet, stopping the feet from rolling inwards as you walk or run. This takes the strain away from the plantar fascia reducing or eliminating your heel pain.

These plantar fasciitis orthotics come with 3 different arch height inserts – low, medium and high. There is also a massaging insert with nodules which gently massage your feet as you walk (this is not included in the Walkfit Platinum sold on other websites). You can therefore choose the level of support which is best and most comfortable for you. People usually start on the low or medium inserts and if required, can then move up to the medium or high inserts to completely cure the problem.

The inserts are easy to change – they just pop out when you bend the insole slightly.

If you aren’t sure which insoles are right for you, visit our help page here.

What are orthotics and how do they work?

If you are suffering from heel pain or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, then orthotics can help. Orthotic insoles for plantar fasciitis are placed inside the shoes and worn throughout the day. They act not only as shock absorbers to relieve the heel pain, they also structurally support the foot thus assisting in rectifying the cause of your heel pain.

Before and after treatment

What is plantar fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is very common, affecting approximately 10% of the population. The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot, from the heel bone to the toes. When this ligament or tissue becomes inflamed it causes heel pain - plantar fasciitis.

Misalignment of your feet can cause this problem as can overuse – it is very common among runners and athletes.

Who does plantar fasciitis affect?

In general, it is those who have to spend long periods of time on their feet due to their employment, athletes or those who are overweight who tend to be prone to plantar fasciitis. But for some individuals, there is no identifiable reason as to why they suffer from heel pain or plantar fasciitis.

What are the symptoms of plantar fasciitis?

Although it varies between individuals, the majority of plantar fasciitis sufferers describe it as a sharp stabbing pain in the heel. Generally, symptoms tend to be worse first thing in the morning and after long periods of sitting or standing.

After 6 months of living hell with the pain in my feet 🦶🏻 I couldn’t believe that within a week 90% of the pain had gone, 2 weeks on I’m pain free again.

Well worth trying

After some seriously debilitating plantar fasciitis pain in one foot suffered for 3 weeks I was very keen to try anything that might support my mobility (as a reasonably fit guy in his forties). This product seemed logical, flexible to different foot arches and reasonably priced. It was delivered very promptly. The pain had actually just started to ease up on its own by the time these inserts arrived, so I cannot fully judge their effectiveness, but I used them during the rehab period and they certainly provide support in all the right places, fit my shoes well and seem durable and well constructed. Considering the pain I was in, these were a good investment and although I may not wear these long term (hopefully), I will be glad to have them to hand in case of a future flare up

Clever drsign

I wear the supports with my slippers and shoes without any difficulty and already the deformation in my left foot appears to be reducing. Initially I have used the thinnest option but have the option of increasing the thickness and thus the effectiveness..
