Are you sick of those first agonising steps out of bed or after you have been sat down for a while? Are your Feet Painful During and After a Run or Walk?

PlantarFix tried and tested insoles for plantar fasciitis have been proven to help those suffering from heel pain and/or plantar fasciitis. Aswell as providing relief and comfort, they have been designed to help rectify the cause of the problem by assisting in aligning the feet correctly.

PlantarFix Orthotic Max Support Firm - Pro

The PlantarFix Orthotic Max Support Pro insole is made from a firm, but comfortable EVA material. It assists in supporting fully the arches of the feet, so stopping the feet from rolling inwards as you walk or run. This takes the strain away from the plantar fascia thus alleviating the problem. Compared to the Max Support Firm, it provides more benefits:-

  • Extra cushioning along the top of the insole
  • More heel cushioning
  • Slightly more arch support

As this type of orthotic insole provides maximum support, it is especially effective for those with high arches. If you aren’t sure which insoles for plantar fasciitis are right for you, visit our help page here.

What are plantar fasciitis orthotics and how do they work?

If you are suffering from heel pain or have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, then orthotics can help. Orthotic insoles for plantar fasciitis are placed inside the shoes and worn throughout the day. They act not only as shock absorbers to relieve the heel pain, they also structurally support the foot thus assisting in correcting the cause of the problem.

 before and after insoles

What is plantar fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is extremely common, affecting approximately 1 in 10 of the population. The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot, from the heel bone to the toes. When this ligament or tissue becomes inflamed it causes heel pain - plantar fasciitis.

 plantar fasciitis

Misalignment of your feet can cause this problem as can overuse – it is very common among runners and athletes.

Who does plantar fasciitis affect?

In general, it is those who have to spend long periods of time on their feet due to their employment, athletes or those who are overweight who tend to be prone to plantar fasciitis. But for some individuals, there is no identifiable reason as to why they suffer from heel pain or plantar fasciitis.

What are the symptoms of plantar fasciitis?

Although it varies between individuals, the majority of plantar fasciitis sufferers describe it as a sharp stabbing pain in the heel. Generally, symptoms tend to be worse first thing in the morning and after long periods of sitting or standing.

Max support Firm - Pro is working for me

Started suffering with Plantar Fisciitis about three months ago. I work outdoors, spending most of my day walking and standing. I also enjoy running twice a week.
The pain I initially experienced was quite uncomfortable, which affected my walking and also meant I couldn't run.
I tried several other cheaper insoles on the internet, but found the quality poor and they didn't help.
I then purchased a pair of Max Support Firm- Pro insoles, which relieved the pain I was experiencing. I have since purchased another pair to wear for work. I have found after time, my condition has eased, which means I can now enjoy running again. I really do believe it is down to these insoles.
